S.Ch Khaos Sagofågel "Stephie"
I saw my first Afghan Hound when I was 13 years old. It was tied up together with a goat (!) outside a barn where I used to do horseback riding. I have always been fascinated by goats, so I did not really "see" that Afghan Hound.
The second time I saw an Afghan was at an outdoor party, some years later. She was a real "beast", not kind, very tangled, wild, and running all over the place. I asked my friend - how on earth can you have such a dog?

After those two introductions to the breed, I could not forget them, even if it was some kind of "lovehate". When I was 19 I bought my first Afghan Hound, and to tell the truth, it was mostly because I wanted to prove to my friend that it was possible to teach an Afghan Hound to behave properly...

Little did I know what I was in for!! To make a long story short; I learned the hard way! I made all the mistakes one can make; with the upbringing, the training and the coat, but we "grew and learned" together, and she became a real beauty and a nice character, after the years when we both matured.

She, "Gentille" (Free Silouette was born 4th of January 1979, by Int.Nord.Ch Tazi Blue Devil x Ch.Felicia) gave me the first litter of Afghan Hounds, and also the first Khaos Champion. She died at age 14 and it was a very hard time for me.
